Thornhill features a wide variety of retail outlets, including clothes boutiques, flower shop, cafes, chocolatier, pubs, food stores, a large pharmacy, a gym, an electrical store, gift shops, a beauticians and 3 hair dressers. There is also a garage with fuel station, post office and village health centre as well as an indoor carwash.

Crawick Multiverse is a land art project by the landscape architect and designer Charles Jencks near Sanquhar, Dumfries & Galloway. It is located on the site of a former open cast coal mine and covers approximately 55 acres, making it the largest of Jencks works in Britain.

Dumfries House is a Palladian country house in Ayrshire, Scotland. The house and estate is now owned by The Prince’s Foundation, a charity which maintains it as a visitor attraction and hospitality and wedding venue.

We are lucky to have such a beautiful estate within a 45 minute drive.

You’ll find us an easy drive from most cities in the North of England, simply follow the A76 to Dumfries then head north for 14 miles towards Thornhill. Easily accessible from Central Scotland, we are conveniently placed 20 minutes off the M74 via either the beautiful Dalveen pass or via Moffat.
